User Account Deletion & Reactivation Policy
This policy explains the process, conditions, and consequences related to account deletion and reactivation for Normal Users on SEEme.
This policy forms an integral part of SEEme’s Terms & Conditions and User Policies.
1. Account Deletion Request
Normal Users may request deletion of their SEEme account at any time through the SEEme application.
Users must select a valid and appropriate reason for requesting account deletion.
The deletion request shall be considered successfully initiated only after OTP verification sent to the user’s registered mobile number or email ID.
2. Cooling-Off Period (72 Hours)
Once the deletion request is confirmed, a 72-hour cooling-off period shall begin.
During this cooling-off period:
The user account shall not be visible to other users on the SEEme platform.
The user’s data, information, and content shall be temporarily stored on SEEme servers for this period only.
Certain platform features may be restricted or unavailable.
3. Account Revocation / Reactivation
Within the 72-hour cooling-off period, users may revoke the deletion request or reactivate their account.
Reactivation can be completed by:
Logging in using OTP, or
Logging in using User ID and password, as applicable.
Upon successful reactivation:
The account shall become visible to other users again.
The user may continue using the account and services as per applicable policies.
4. Communication During Cooling Period
During the 72-hour cooling-off period, SEEme reserves the right to:
Contact the user via phone call, SMS, email, or in-app notification.
Communicate for feedback, quality improvement, verification, or service-related purposes.
5. Permanent Account Deletion
If the deletion request is not revoked or reactivated within 72 hours, the account shall be permanently deleted.
Upon permanent deletion:
The account shall be removed from active SEEme systems.
Access to the account shall be permanently disabled.
Restoration or recovery of the account shall not be possible.
6. Data Loss & Limitation of Responsibility
Once an account is permanently deleted:
SEEme shall not be responsible for any loss of data, information, content, history, or records associated with that account.
The user expressly acknowledges that account deletion is irreversible.
7. Deletion Due to Policy Violation (No Reactivation)
If an account is deleted, suspended, or terminated by SEEme due to:
Violation of Terms & Conditions
Violation of User Policies & Community Guidelines
In such cases:
The user shall not be permitted to appeal, revoke, or reactivate the account.
The account and associated data, content, and information may be removed immediately.
SEEme’s decision shall be final and binding.
8. Platform Rights Reserved
SEEme reserves the right to:
Modify or update this policy at any time
Restrict reactivation in exceptional or legal circumstances
Retain certain records as required under law, compliance, or dispute resolution
9. User Acknowledgement
By requesting account deletion, the user acknowledges and agrees that:
The request is voluntary
The process and consequences are understood
SEEme shall not be liable for any loss arising from deletion
